9月17日 一个基督徒的葬礼葬礼在一处中世纪的教堂举行，覆盖着花环的白色灵柩停在祭坛前方，所有的人静默的立在两旁。在仪式开始之前，我们每个人上前与家属握手，他们是虔诚的基督徒，努力克制着自己的悲痛，低声的感谢我们。想说点什么话来宽慰他们，但却说不出来，只道得一声节哀。牧师出来了，仪式开始。
我们开始唱圣歌，音乐涤荡着心灵，让人获得安宁。
我们开始祈祷, “Amen 愿主宽恕我们的罪，如同我们宽恕别人一样”。
他的家人说：”我们永远记得他所做的一切，但我们也不必为他悲伤，他将与主同在。”
牧师告诫大家:"死不是终点，死是通向永恒的起点。”
牧师往灵柩上撒了圣水，预示着逝者的灵魂已得到拯救。礼毕之后，六个人扶柩走出教堂，众人跟在后面，队伍朝墓地缓缓的行进。路两旁的行人看到之后会停下来在胸前画个十字。
这就是我所参加的一个基督徒的葬礼。
总的来说基督徒的葬礼不像一般中国式葬礼那样的悲戚，可能在基督徒心目中，尘世生命的终结正是人世赎罪的结束、新生的肇始。我在教堂所看到的三幅画，居中的是耶稣受难，另两幅都是圣母玛利亚，似乎也有隐约的寓意。
基督徒的葬礼用了很多的篇幅来追忆死者的生平，这也算是对生命最后的礼赞吧。而对于旁观者而言，也促使我们去思考生命的意义，我们应该怎样度过这一生。 我们开始思考生命终极意义的时候，也许正是我们摆脱虚无的开始。
